Skychain: Update from the Partnership Manager
Hello, Skychain community!
You are regularly served with the updates from Skychain developers and I think it’s time to share some news on the work I’m doing as a Partnerships Manager as well.
First of all, I would like to tell you that Skychain has made a decision to become the residents of Skolkovo Innovation Center in Moscow. Briefly, Skolkovo is a state-supported high technology business area, which, in some way, tends to become Russian Silicon Valley.
We feel that joining Skolkovo might be beneficial for Skychain. The residents get numerous benefits, such as tax incentives, possible governmental grants, intellectual property protection support, marketing and promotion. Although, it can take some time to apply and get our request reviewed, we are sure that in a long-term perspective it will be 100% worth it.
Second — we are making good progress in building partnerships with data providers for our project. We have contacted a large number of medical institutions all around the world, which seem to have what we need. Currently we are in talks with two major medical centres. Representatives of one of it will arrive to Moscow next week, and we will discuss the possibilities of cooperation in detail. We also want to invite them to our office to show the prototype and try to impress them. Hopefully it will work. Keep your fingers crossed!
Third — we are planning a large campaign of participation in conferences, summits and expos until the end of 2018 in three key directions:
- Artificial Intelligence;
Mostly, we tend to get speaking and pitching opportunities in the upcoming events.
We also applied for participation in startup competitions at multiple events. Usually, startups for this kind of pitching are carefully selected by the organizers and usually only the best ones get the opportunity. And if all of the projects are great, it draws a lot of attention from investors and becomes exciting to watch. We are waiting for the feedback from various organizers in case they would like us to come.
Some progress on it — Skychain will most likely participate in AI Expo on 27–28 June 2018 in Amsterdam. We will take part in a panel discussion “AI transforming Healthcare” on Day 2. This is something good to start with and later we will announce our participation in other events throughout a year.
Last (but not the least) — we will soon release a new Skychain website. It will be completely different and will look much better than the current one. Can’t share the details, but we’ll release it soon.
Well, this is pretty much all I wanted to tell you about. If you have any thoughts to share, don’t hesitate and contact me on Telegram @AOksanenko.
